,;~~, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 73- /.~7 <br />BY ~~~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SAFETY DIRECTOR <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE NEW CAR, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Safety Director <br />that it is necessary that a new car be purchased for use in the <br />Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the City is in <br />need of anew car for use by the Fire Department of the City of <br />North Olmsted, and desires to purchase a new car for City use, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Safety Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for a new car for use by the Fire <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted, said new car to be in <br />accordance with the specifications on file in his office, and that <br />upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized <br />to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted for said new car. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the public peace, safety, health <br />and welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of obtaining a <br />new car for use by the Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />W".~tEFORE, this Resilution shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED:~~i~ ~f1~/"'~ <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
