<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73-,~,~ <br />BY: ~~• _ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORI2TNG THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO AN EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT WITH KOSTER & <br />ASSOCIATES FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERFORMING A <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL AND ICE SKATING <br />RINK. <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Commission of the City of North Olmsted has <br />advised Council that a feasibility study for the construction of a swimming pool <br />and ice skating rink should be performed in order to determine the location of said <br />recreation area, the method of financing construction, and the revenue to be ex- <br />pected from the operation of said recreational area ;and <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation, Public Parks, and Building Committee of Council <br />has also recommended to Council that a feasibility study be conducted for the con- <br />struction of a swimming pool and ice skating rink ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council now wishes to authorized the Mayor to enter into a contract <br />for a feasibility study for a swimming pool and ice skating rink to be built in the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio :' <br />Section 1. That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract with Koster & Associates whereby a feasibility study will be conducted <br />by Koster & Associates as to the location, method of financing, and revenue to <br />be expected from the construction and ep~eration of a municipal swimming pool <br />and a municipal ice skating rink. <br />Section 2. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />at the earliest date permittedy by Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: ~~-~•~.~'o, /~~ <br />ATTEST: <br />Nora T.
