( <br />4j <?,o 7' <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE PUBLIC WC?RKS <br />DIVISION OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, SETTING <br />FORTH THE PERSONNEL NEEDED AS TO THE SERVICE <br />DEPARTMENT, VEHICLE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, <br />BUILDING MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, AND THE <br />SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM OF THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIVISION, SETTING FORTH THE REMUNERATION OF <br />ALL EMPLOYEES IN THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WI-3EREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all <br />employees, both salaried and hourly, of the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WI3EREAS, Council now wishes to establish these Organizational <br />Charts for the purpose of identification, both as to duties to be performed and <br />remuneration to be received; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted the Organizational Charts in order <br />to establish future personnel needs as the needs of the City of North Olmsted <br />increase due to population expansion. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: There is hereby created a Public Works Division, which <br />division shall be supervised by one (1) Public Works Commissioner who shall <br />also be the Superintendant of Sanitary Sewer Systems and who shall report and be <br />answerable directly to the Director of Public Set?ribe The Public Warks Commissioner <br />shall be in charge of the operations of the Service Department, Vehicle Maintenance <br />Department, Building Maintenance Department and the Sanitary Sewer System and <br />shall further supervise the Superintendant of Parks, one(1) secretary and all other <br />personnel as set forth hereinafter. <br />Section 2: The Public Works Commissioner shall be responsible <br />for all operations in the Departments of the Public Works Division and all super- <br />visors shall report directly to the Public Works Commissioner, including the <br />Superintendant of Parks. <br />Section 3: The Superintendant of Service, in addition to being in <br />charge of the Service Department, shall be in charge of the Vehicle Maintenance <br />Department and the Building Maintenance Department.
