CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 68-65 <br />BY HODGINS <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CHARGE FOR <br />COMMERCIAL REFUSE COLLECTIOIV. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Safety -Service Director <br />that considerable amount of time and labor is spent by the Service Department <br />in collecting commeraial; and <br />WHEREAS, Couucil having inquired of other Municipal Corporations <br />the methods utilized to equalize the cost of commercial refuse collection <br />commensurate with residential refuse collection has now decided that it is <br />necessary to levy charges for commercial refuse collection. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of theCity of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Service Director is now suthorized to charge <br />commercial establishments for refusir collection exceeding four 20 gallon <br />containers per week. If any business establishmBunt's refuse collection <br />exceeds four 20 gallon containers the Service Director is authorized to <br />charge $17. 00 per month for the rental of and emptying of uniform one <br />yard containers , which containers shall be placed on the business es- <br />tablishment's premises and which the City of North Olmsted shall pick- <br />up and empty for the charge heretofore set forth, If the business establish- <br />ment has four or less 20 gallon containers it shall be the duty of the owner, <br />proprietor, lessor, or person in charge, to place the four or less 20 gallon <br />containers at the curb of the street thereby faciltating the pickup and empty- <br />txtg of the 20 gallon containers. <br />Section 2.
