CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY <br />RESOLUTION (N0. 68-gO <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE PUBLIC <br />SERVICE OF DIRECTOR OF RECREATION, <br />RONALD SLATER, AND DECLARING AN EA/IERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Recreation, Ronald SLater, has served the capacity <br />of Director of the North Olmsted 'Aecreation Progam since its inception until <br />March 31, 1968, and <br />WHEREAS, the period of service was during the time of rapid growth of the <br />City of North Olmsted requiring great dedication, ingenuity, skill and devotion to <br />the Recreation Program, and <br />WHEREAS, under the guidance of Roaald Slater, the Recreational Program <br />has grown from a modest beginning to a program which now serves the needs of <br />all the citisens of the City of North Olmsted, and one whieh is varied and <br />educational, especially for the younger generation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the minutes of this Council show the gratitude and <br />appreciation of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted, its admini?strat i ve. <br />officers and the members of this Council to Rona}ad Slater for his years of devoted <br />public sezvice to th-e City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to <br />send to Ronald Slater a copy of this Resolution. <br />Section 3. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary foi`#he immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />and welfare and safety of the City.
