CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Resolution No.69- JS? <br />By: W <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A NEW SMALL <br />BULLDOZER, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of Public <br />Service that it is necessary to purchase a new small bulldozer for <br />use by the Service Department in the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the City is in need of <br />a new small bulldozer for use by the North Olmsted Service Department, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for one (1) new small bull- <br />dozer for use by the North Olmsted Service Department, said small <br />bulldozer to be in accordance with the specifications on file in <br />his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of_ North Olmsted for said small bulldozer. <br />Section 2; That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of obtaining a small <br />bulldozer for use by the North Olmsted Service Department. WHEREFORE, <br />this resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage, otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council Francis J. 0'Neil , resident of Council <br />APPROVED : <br />? <br />??sfi?? ?'I?a???
