? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLU'II ON NO. 69- + Lj3 <br />1 <br />BY . <br />? <br />? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR REPAIRS TO THE SEWAGE TREATMENT <br />PLANT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has advised the <br />Public Service and Utilities Committee of Council that storm damage at <br />the Sewage Treatment Plant necessitates repairs ; and <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of Council has considered <br />the cost of said repairs and has advised the Public Service and Utilities <br />Committee of Council that the necessary money is available ; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Service and Utilities Committee now <br />recommends to Council that said repairs should be completed and therefore, <br />the Director of Public Service should be authorized to advertise for bids <br />for the necessary repairs. <br />NOW, TiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for repairing the Sanitary Sewage Treatment <br />Plant according to the plans and specifications dated June 26, 1969, now <br />on file in the office of the Director of Public Service. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, <br />health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that said repairs are necessary <br />immediately in order to maintain the full operation of the Sanitary Sewage Treat- <br />ment Plant, WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be force im- <br />mediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: Q?
