?_ CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 69- 1?? <br />BY: ?? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PAVING OF <br />BAILEY ROAD, ESTHER AVENUE, SUMMERLAND AVENUE, <br />VIRGINIA AVENUE, MacBETH AVENUE, THERESA LANE, AND <br />MAPLE RIDGE ROAD FROM CLAGUE ROAD TO WALTER ROAD, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of Council has been advised <br />by the Director of Public Service that Bailey Road, Esther Avenue, <br />Summerland Avenue, Virginia Avenue, MacBeth Avenue, Theresa Lane and <br />Ma.ple Ridge Road between Clague and Walter Roads are in a poor state <br />of repair; and <br />WHEREAS, there have been many complaints regarding the <br />conditions existing on Bailey Road, Esther Avenue, Summerland Avenue, <br />Virginia Avenue, Ma.cBeth Avenue, Theresa Lane and Maple Ridge Road <br />from Clague Road to Walter Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to pave said roads in order to <br />alleviate these conditions which exist. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the repaving of <br />Bailey Road, Esther Avenue, Summerland Avenue, Virginia Avenue, <br />MacBeth Avenue, Theresa Lane, and Maple Ridge Road from Clague Road <br />to Walter Road, all within the City of North Olmsted, according to <br />the plans and specifications now on file in his office, at an <br />approximate price of $19,800.00. <br />Section 2; That this resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of <br />the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue <br />of the fact that conditions existing on said roads constitute a <br />hazard to the residents in this area, WHEREFORE, this resolution <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, <br />otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />. <br />?IA <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED : 7hS-16 9 <br />Ma.yor ,{ Ralph E.
