B Y ORDINANCE N0, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLA7'ION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 236-3-3 BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR sidewalk construction AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the construction of sidewalks. WHEREAS,Mr. Kanareff of have paid the sum of $123.54 in payment of said special assessments, in advancp, for the tax years 1969 through 1971 , inclusive, together with accrued interest levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No.236-3-3 in the City of North Olmsted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby authorized and dlrecfied to cancel for the years 1969 through 1971 , inclusive assessments in full for,sidewalk construction. Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such assessments for the period 19 69through 19 71 , inclusive, amounting to $ 123.54 on said parcel. Section 3; That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward an afitested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Section 4: Wherefare, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel No. 236-3-3 , for sidewalk construction. Section 5; Wherefore9 this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage9 otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
