CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION N0. 69-109 BY _?? • A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE ACHIEVEMENT OF DAVID BLAIN, TROOP 204, CLAGUE ROAD UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, FOR RECEIVING RECOMMENDATION FROM TH19 CAT'i3bEIC DIOCESE AND RECEIVING AD ALTARE DEI AWARD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Council has been apprised that the Ad Altars Dei Award will be presented to David Blain, on April 27th; and WHEREAS, David Blain is a member of Troop 204 of Clague Road United Church of Christ, and has worked very diligently for the betterment of all scouting; and WHEREAS, said .0arhcrlic Diocese of Glo-veland wishes to.recognize the achievement of David Blain; and WHEREAS, Council wishes to go on record to commend the non-denominational work of this Boy Scout, and further to re- cognize his contributions to scouting in general. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section l. That David Blain is hereby commended for his scouting work, and for his effort expended as a Boy Scout, which efforts have been of such extent that they have been recognized the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby requested to transfer a copy of this Resolution to David Blain. Section 3. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure because Council wishes to have this Resolu- tion passed prior to this award being given on April 27th.
