,- ? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 69-9,i'` <br />BY ? ---? ? <br />AN ORDINANCE ENACTI?G SECTION 533.99 ( d) OF <br />THE GENERAL OFFENSES CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, OHIO ( CODIFIED ORDINANCES ), ENTITLED <br />" PENALTY, " TO CONFORM TO CHANGES ENACTED BY <br />THE OHIO GENER.AL ASSEMBLY, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGEN CY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that it is in the best interest of <br />the City of North Olmsted that the North Olmsted General Offenses Code be <br />reviewed to eliminate any conflicts with provisions of the State Statutes, as <br />enacted by the Ohio General Assembly. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That Section 5 33. 99 ( d), Chapter 533 ( Codified Ordinances ) <br />of the North Olmsted General Offenses Code shall read as follows: <br />533.99 ( d ) RENALTY. <br />( d) Whoever violates Section 533.09 shall be fined <br />not more than one thousand dollars ($l, 000. 00 ) <br />or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. <br />Section 2. That any ordinance or parts of ordinances, or resolution <br />or parts of resolution-F,inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance, are <br />hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety, <br />health and welfare by virtue of the fact that Section 533. 99 ( d) prior to this <br />amendment is in conflict with the provision of the State Statufies.
