CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81-142 <br />BY: Janet Sarinqer <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND <br />EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUND FOR THE EPdGINEERING ANALYSIS AND <br />DESIGN TO INSTALL STORMWATER INLET CONTROLS IN <br />AREA APPROXIMATELY BOUND BY MAPLE RIDGE ROAD, WALTER <br />ROAD, GESSNER ROAD AND COLUMBIA ROAD. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted desires to improve the health <br />and safety of the immediate area bound by Maple Ridge Road, Walter Road, <br />Gessner Road and Columbia Road area and residents adjacent to this area, <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council has applied for and received approval <br />to use Community Development Block Grant Funds, and <br />WHEREAS, a recent examination of the City financial records by the <br />State Auditor has determined that the sum of all funds for a project, including <br />federal funds, must be appropriated by Council before certification by the <br />Finance Director. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TfiE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Council hereby appropriates the sum of Thirty- Five <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($35,800.00) from the Community Development <br />Block Grant Funds for the engineering analysis and desiqn of stormwater inlet <br />controls. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of the Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after the earliest period allowed by la?a. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />CJ4.Z? ,( • Cr Gii <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, CLERK F COUPJCIL <br />APPROVED: <br />ROBERT W.
