, <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81 - 123 <br />BY: MR. WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FORTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($45,000.00) FROM THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br />FIRE STATION No. 1. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor was authorized to enter into an agreement for the <br />purchase of property located on the east side of Fire Station No. 1, known <br />as Permanent Parcel Number 231-36-06, and located at 25088 Lorain Road, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio by Ordinance No. 81 - 82. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated from the Federal Revenue <br />Sharing Fund the sum of Forty Five Thousand pollars for the purchase of <br />said property. <br />SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of the Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approved <br />by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or <br />Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall <br />be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority <br />of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided, further that <br />the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of <br />two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation <br />against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific <br />appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />P A S S ED :(aCt¢lll, .2-0, 19' 8( <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
