CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81-109 <br />BY : MR. BOEIIMER <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRINQ APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES <br />FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR <br />THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1981, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br /> GENERAL FUND <br />FROM TO <br />City Insurance . . . $17,000 Fire Equipment Purchase . . . $17,000 <br />City Insurance ... 60,000 Street Repair Material <br /> Asphal t . . . . . . . . . 60 , 000 <br />TOTAL: $77,000 <br />$77,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or Ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended <br />upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense <br />constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than <br />those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary <br />for the continuity of services in the City, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED: S` /94FJ '4?& %- ATTEST: <br />F orence E.
