C ITY OF NORTH OLAZSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0.81 - 69 <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR RECAPPING OF <br />TIRES FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the recapping of tires <br />for the automotive equipment of the Cit,y in accordance with the <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control, the Ma.yor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute same pn behalf of the Cit,y of North <br />Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the #'urther reason that <br />it is necessary to meet the current needs of the City as the present <br />contract expired in March, 1981, and further,provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take ef#'ect and be in f'orce immediately upan its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />P A S S ED : 1?-?-- <br />ATTEST: <br />F orence E.
