? <br />.ftw <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-47 <br />BY: JAMES BOEHMER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING <br />THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR THE REVAMPING OF THE SWIMMING <br />POOL FILTR.ATION SYSTEM LOCATED AT THE NORTH <br />OLMSTED RECREATION COMPLEX, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, upon report of the Safety Director to this Council <br />it has been determined that the present filtration system of the <br />swimming pool located at the North Olmsted Recreation Complex is <br />inefficient and an automated system is presently necessary, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to advertise <br />for bids for the purpose of replacing the existing manual pool <br />filtration system with an automated system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby aut orized and directed to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of a revamped automated swimming pool filtration system at the North <br />Olmsted Recreation Complex, which system shall be in accordance with <br />the specifications now on file in his office and that upon approval <br />by the Board of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into <br />a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to replace the existing system for <br />the summer swimming sessions, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: " <br />ATTEST: <br />Le.4" ? <br />DE EY IMPERT, FRVoIDENT OF <br />COUNCYt"V <br />/'_1 <br />First reading: <br />Second reading: s <br />Third reading: <br />/ <br />F RENCE CA BEL , C RK OF COUNC?
