_..??,.,.._,... ___.v..?._?,???. r_.,.....??.?,..,?-?,.m ........ .. . ......:..4..?.._??. .__ , ...a?_...,_?_4?.m?, <br />, .? <br />CTTY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTTON NO.: gl_ - 29 <br />00, <br />BY : A RESOLUTION DECLARING IT NECESSARY TO IMPROVE, IN <br />COOPERATION WITH THE DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION OF <br />THE STATE OF OHIO, DOVER CENTER ROAD AND BUTTERNUT <br />RIDGE ROAD BETWEEN CERTAIN TERMINI BY CONSTRUCTING <br />CONCRETE DRIVEWAY APPROACHES, AS Al`4ENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council by Ordinance No. 79-79, passed July 3, 1979, <br />consented to the improvement of Dover Center Road from Butternut Ridge <br />Road to the northerly corporation line by the Director of Transportation <br />of the State of Ohio; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council determines that, as part of this improvement, <br />concrete driveway approaches should be constructed on Dover Center Road <br />from Butternut Ridge Road to the north corporation line and on Butternut Ridge <br />Road for a distance of approxima.tely 250 feet east and 550 feet west of the <br />centerline of Dover Center Road, the cost of which after deducting any <br />federal, state or county funds which may be allocated thereto, will be <br />paid by the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council determines that a portion of the City's share <br />of the cost of constructing said driveway approaches should be assessed <br />against the abutting properties; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1. That it is necessary to improve, in cooperation with <br />the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio, Dover Center Road from <br />Butternut Ridge Road to the northerly corporation line and Butternut Ridge <br />Road for a distance of approximately 250 feet east and 550 feet west of the <br />centerline of Dover Center Road by constructing concrete driveway approaches. <br />SECTION 2. That said streets shall be improved as shown on the plans <br />hereinafter referred to and now on file in the office of the Clerk of this <br />Council. <br />SECTION 3. That it is hereby determined and declared that said <br />improvement is conducive to the public health, convenience and welfare of <br />said City and the inhabitants thereof. <br />SECTION 4. That the grade of said streets as improved shall be <br />the grade as shown by the plans and profiles which have been prepared by <br />the City's consulting engineers, John David Jones and Associates, and which <br />are made a part hereof. <br />SECTION 5. That the plans, specif ication, estimates and profiles <br />of the proposed improvement, heretofore prepared by the City's consulting <br />engineers, John David Jones and Associates, and now on file in the office <br />of the Clerk of this Council, are hereby approved.
