SWIETYNIOWSKI <br />-1 <br />e;l <br />I4?AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE <br />MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO OFFER <br />TO THE NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF EDUCATION THE <br />SUM OF $375,000.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF COE <br />SCHOOL LOCATED IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has had a number of ineetings with the <br />North Olmsted Board of Education personnel, and <br />WHEREAS, it has been indicated that the North Olmsted <br />Board of Education is interested in selling the Coe School <br />located on Lorain Road in the area of Columbia Road to the <br />City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has obtained an appraisal indicating <br />that the fair market value of the Coe School property is <br />$375,000.00, and <br />WHEREAS, the North Olmsted Board of Education has indicated <br />that they would be interested in receiving an offer from the <br />City of North Olmsted to purchase the Coe School property for <br />the sum of $375,000.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />to negotiate with the North Olmsted Board of Education for the <br />purchase of Coe School, which purchase price shall not exceed <br />$375,000.00. <br />SECTION 2: That any final draft of a purchase agreement <br />with t e Nort Olmsted Board of Education for the purchase of <br />the Coe School property shall be subject to the approval of the <br />Council of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in force rom and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, CLERK OF COUNCIL DEWEY H.
