J CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 89-102 By: Councilman Wilamosky: AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CCTRRII~T EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPF.NDITLIRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OII~ISTID FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINID BY THE CITY OF NORTH OrM.~PF'n, COtIN'I'Y OF C[IYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1989, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as fol- lows; Current Increased Decreased Revised GIIVERAL FCIND General Government Supplies 16,000 -0- 2,012 13,988 Fire Departtrnent Overtime 100,000 2,012 -0- 102,012 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall. immediately forward an at- tested-copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City 7.Yeasury for payments from any of the aforegoing ap- propriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, ap- prcrYed by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Or- dinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons em- ployed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made.
