.` r CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 89-38 BY: RONALD J. WILAMOSKY A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION AND REPLACEMENT OF THE BOX CULVERT AND HEAD WALLS LOCATED ON BRADLEY ROAD IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the box culvert and head walls on Bradley Road and deems it appropriate for the safety and health of persons using Bradley Road to replace the aforesaid box culver and head walls; and WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of Public Service advertise for bids in accordance with specifications now in his office for the purpose of replacing said box culvert and head walls. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the repair and replacement of the box culvert and head walls located an Bradley Road in the City of North Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety and welfare of the individuals using Bradley Road and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
