WILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION AND <br />REPLACEMENT OF THE BOX CULVERT AND HEAD WALLS LOCATED ON <br />BRADLEY ROAD IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the box culvert and head walls <br />on Bradley Road and deems it appropriate for the safety and health of <br />persons using Bradley Road to replace the aforesaid box culver and head <br />walls; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, having been advised of the recommendation of the <br />City Engineer is desirous of having the Director of Public Service <br />advertise for bids in accordance with specifications now in his office for <br />the purpose of replacing said box culvert and head walls. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for the repair and replacement of the box <br />culvert and head walls located an Bradley Road in the City of North <br />Olmsted, all of which shall be in accordance with specifications now on <br />file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to take corrective actions in order to insure the health, safety <br />and welfare of the individuals using Bradley Road and further, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED:, ~ <br />ATTEST: <br />
