CITY OF NORTf ~ OL,~LSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89 - 35 <br />BY THE MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE COUNCIL <br />A RESOLUTION CO~~IE\~ING THE ACHIE~'~9ENT <br />OF THE EAGLE SCOUT t11iARD IN BOY SCOUTING <br />IVHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted has been apprised that <br />the highest rank in Boy Scouting, the EAGLE SCOUT AWARD, has been attained by <br />JAA~S J. IVILSON, Boy Scout Troop No. 53, and <br />1~7~REAS, in order to attain such an award, these levels of scouting had <br />to be passed: Tenderfoot, Second Class Scout, First Class Scout, Star Scout, <br />and Life Scout, and <br />l~I-IEREAS, JADIES J. WILSON has earned the following Skill Awards: Conserva- <br />tion, Cooking, Swirmning, Citizenship, Family Living, First Aid, Physical Fitness, <br />Camping, Hiking, Environment and Communications, and has also earned twenty-two <br />Merit Badges, and <br />lti7-IEREAS, JATIES J. 1VILSON was elected to the Order of the Arrow and <br />completed the Ordeal; has served Troop 53 as Patrol Leader and as a member of <br />the Leadership Corps; has been active in scouting for four years, attending two <br />summer camps and Tinnerman High Adventure Camp; was an Explorer Scout for two <br />years with the United States Customs Service; in June, 1987, accompanied by <br />several member scouts, testified as a proponent on Ohio Senate Bill 243 before <br />the State Energy Committee in Columbus, which bill regulated the disposal of <br />infectious solid waste and became law in August, 1988; and is currently a <br />freshman at Baldwin-Wallace College, majoring in Business Administration and <br />Criminal Justice, and <br />WI-AREAS, after having accomplished the above mentioned challenges, JAMES <br />J. WILSON was interviewed and tested by the Eagle Board of Review, and <br />WHEREAS, the reception of the EAGLE SCOUT AWARD by JAMES J. WILSON is a <br />noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the congratulations of the entier community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council extends its best wishes and heartiest con- <br />gratulations to JAMES J. WILSON on his achievement of the rank of EAGLE SCOUT. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to <br />transmit a copy of this Resolution to the above named JAMES J.
