CITY OF NOR11I OLI~ISTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89 - 33 <br />BY THE MAYOR AND THE ENTIRE COUi`TCIL <br />A RESOLUTIONT CO~L~IE\1~ING Tl~ ACIIIEVEI~IENT <br />OF THE EAGLE SCOUT Ah~ARD IN BOY SCOUTING <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted has been apprised that <br />the highest rank in Bo}- Scouting, the EAGLE SCOUT AIVARD, has been attained by <br />JEFFREY R. KOHL, Boy Scout Troop No. 53, and <br />l~'~IEREAS, in order to attain such an award, these levels of scouting had <br />to be passed: Tenderfoot, Second Class Scout, First Class Scout, Star Scout, <br />and Life Scout, and <br />I~REAS, JEFFREY R. KOI~ has earned the following Skill Awards: Camping, <br />Citizenship, Communications, Conservation, Cooking, Family Living, First Aid, <br />Hiking and Swimming, and has also earned twenty-four Merit Badges, and <br />h'I~REAS, JEFFREY R. KOHL is presently a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster and <br />member of the Leadership Corps; was elected to the Order of the Arrow and <br />completed the Ordeal; has served Troop 53 as Scribe, Patrol Leader, Assistant <br />Senior Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader; has participated in five summer <br />camps, Tinnerman (ttivice), Philmont High Adventure camps, and seven Polar Bear <br />campouts; completed Project Cope at Camp Avery Hand; has participated in numer- <br />ous weekend campouts and backpacking experiences; has served as an Honorary <br />North Olmsted City Official at two All Scouts Weekends; has been active iri <br />scouting for ten years and has received the Arrow of Light, and <br />WI-IEREAS, after having accomplished the above mentioned challenges, <br />JEFFREY R. KOHL was interviewed and tested by the Eagle Board of Review, and <br />j11IIEREAS, the reception of the EAGLE SCOUT AWARD by JEFFREY R. KOHL is a <br />noteworthy accomplishment deserving of the congratulations of the entire community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council extends its best wishes and hearties con- <br />gratulations to JEFFREY R. KOHL on his achievement of the rank of EAGLE SCOUT. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to <br />transmit a copy of this Resolution to the above named JEFFREY R.
