Z?C _ A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY GENER.AL HELATH DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR 1984, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City of North 0lmsted, under O.R.C. 3709.08 is a member of the General Health District of Cuyahoga County, and WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into a contract for the year 1984 for health services to be performed by the Cuyahoga County General Health District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to enter lnto a contract, a copy of which is attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A", with the Cuyahoga County General Health District to provide health services to the City of North Olmsted from January l, 1984 through December 31, 1984. SECTION 2: That a copy of this Resolution sha11 be forwarded to the Dlr? ector of Finance for authority to pay semi-annual payments under the provisions of this contract. SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of health services to the residents of this City, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
