CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE 83 - 128 <br />BY: RON WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE CREATING A NEW FUND, ADDING TO THE <br />FINANCIAL STRUCTURE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />A FUND KNOWN AS THE YOUTH PROGRAM FUND, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />eltj?? <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted currently conducts programs for the <br />benefit of youths, and <br />WHEREAS, funding of such programs may be obtained through intergovernmental <br />grants, contracts, shared taxes, and fees, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of North Olmsted believe a greater understanding <br />of the financial possition of the City can be achieved through the establishment of <br />one fund to account for all related transactions, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That there is hereby created a Special Revenue Fund entitled the <br />"Youth Program Fund". <br />SECTION 2: That such fund will be funded with the proceeds of all grants, <br />aids, interest, fees, shared taxes, and transfers pertaining to youth programs. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is authorized to pay out of said <br />fund, amounts of money in accordance with the provisions of such grants, aids, <br />contracts, and shared taxes, and as designated by Council. <br />SECTION 4: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, <br />and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />of Council, it sha11 take effect, and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval of the Mayor. <br />SECTION S: That upon passage of this Ordinance, the Clerk of Council is <br />instructed to forward certified copies to the Auditor of the State of Ohio, <br />Thomas Ferguson, and the Cuyahoga County Auditor, J.
