Dean McKay ' <br />PtN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP AND FILE OF <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO PROVIDE FOR THE INSTALLATION <br />OF A TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL ON RELOCATED STATE ROUTE 252, <br />A'T THE INTERSECTION WITH BUTTERNUT RIDGE ROAD. <br />WHEREAS, the Council and the Administration recognize that <br />t`here will be a traffic congestion problem at the intersection of <br />Relocated State Route 252, and Butternut Ridge Road, and <br />WHEREAS, the Ohio Department of Transportation had conducted <br />a Traffic Signal Warrant Analysis warranting the signal installation, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Ohio Department of Transportation approved the <br />Traffic Signal Warrants on November 6, 1979, and <br />WHEREAS, as part of the Relocation of State Route 252 improve- <br />ments, a traffic control signal will be installed at the intersection <br />of Relocated State Route 252, and Butternut Ridge Road, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend the Traffic <br />Control Map and File to provide for the installation of said traffic <br />control signal, and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the <br />maintenance of a Traffic Control Map which said map can be amended <br />only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and they are hereby <br />authorized and directed to amend the Traffic Control Map and File of <br />the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon a traffic control signal <br />at the intersection of Relocated State Route 252 and Butternut Ridge <br />Road thereby controlling traffic both northbound and southbound on <br />Relocated State Route 252, as well as traffic eastbound and westbound <br />on Butternut Ridge Road. <br />SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />F ORENCE E.
