CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE 83 - 54 <br />BY: Ronald Wilamosky <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($2,000.00) FOR THE PURCHASE OF PARAMEDIC <br />EQUIPMENT, AND DECLARING IT AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Louisa A. Scott, in her last will and testament did give <br />and bequeath the sum of Tao Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) to be used by the <br />Paramedic Unit for the purchase of equipment, and <br />WHEREAS, that amount has been received from the executrix Luella <br />Goldenbogen through Mr. Norman Musial Attorney at Law and deposited to the <br />City Treasury. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted, personally <br />and collectively, on behalf of the residents and government of this City, in <br />particular the Paramedic Unit, wish to extend our prayers and gratitude to <br />Louisa Scott and our heartfelt sympathy to her sister Luella Goldenbogen. <br />SECTION 2: That in respect to the wishes of Louisa Scott the sum of <br />Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) is hereby set aside and appropriated to the <br />Endowment and Grant Fund for use by the Paramedic Unit for the purchase of <br />equipment as authorized by the Mayor, Director of Public Safety, and the Fire Chief. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from the foregoing appropriation upon <br />receiving proper certificate and vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of <br />Officers authorized by Law to approve. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward copies <br />of this ordinance to Luella Goldenbogen, executrix and Timothy McCormack, Cuyahoga <br />County Auditor. <br />SECTION 5: That this ordinance is declared to be on emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, <br />and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the continuity of <br />services, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval of the Mayor. <br />PAS SED : <br />ATTEST: <br />Fl"orence E.
