.W <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83-59 <br />BY: ? ?Xz <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING T19ENTY THOUSAND <br />DOLLARS ($20,000.00) IN CONNECTZON_WITH__ <br />ORDINANCE 83-58 FOR THE COST OF PREPARING <br />IMPROVEr1ENT PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND <br />ESTIT^IATES OF COST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE <br />RECOM?IENDATIONS IN THE SEWER SYSTEM EVALUA- <br />TION SURVEY REPORT, AND DECLARING IT AN <br />EP-:ERGF.NCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to apply for federal aid <br />through the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency to improve the sanitary <br />sewer system, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to prepare improvement plans, <br />specifications and estimates of cost in accordance with the recor.tmendatiors <br />in the Sewer System Evaluation Survey Report which must be prepared by an <br />engineering firm, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council and the Administration to <br />hire the services of Dalton-Dalton-Newport to prepare said sewer design at a <br />cost not to exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), of tohich seventy-five <br />percent (75%) may be credited through a grant from the U. S. Environmental <br />Protection Agency, and Two Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($2,200.00) from the <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the following sums be and are hereby set aside <br />and appropriated as follows: <br />SEWER REVENUE FUND <br />Facility Plan Step III $20,000.00 <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments £rom the foregoing <br />appropriation upon receiving proper certificate and -vouchers therefor, ap- <br />proved by the Board of Officers authorized by Law to approve. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />copies of this ordinance to Timothy McCormack, Cuyahoga County Auditor. <br />Section 4: That this ordinance is declared to be an eMergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the <br />continuity of services, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval of the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
