WILM40SKY <br />dp?? <br />? <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR C[JRRFNT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLP•4STED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31ST, <br />1984. <br />WHEREAS, gasoline tax and vehicle license fees exceed the <br />original budget by $62,500.00; <br />NOW, THFRFFORE, BE IT ORDAINFD BY THF. COUNCIL OF THF. CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorize an lrected to appropriate and set aside said sum of <br />$62,500.00 as follows: <br />STREFT MAINTENANCF, FUND <br />Material.... $62,500.00 <br />SF.CTIQN 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an atteste copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and <br />vouchers therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law <br />to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the <br />exnenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for <br />salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in <br />accordance with law or ordinance, provided further that the annronri- <br />ations for contingencies can only be expended upon approval by`two- <br />thirds vote of Council f_or items of expense constituting a legal obli- <br />gation against the City and for nurposes other than thase covered by <br />the other snecific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in £orce <br />at the earliest clate permitted by Article IV, Section 121 of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
