CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0: 84 37 <br />BY; ? <br />? <br />AN OPDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF ONE 1984 AUTOMOBILE TO BE USED BY <br />THE MAYOR <br />Whereas, this Council recognizes that the automobile <br />presently beinb used by the Mayor has accumulated a great many <br />miles and is presently obsolete for purposes of utilizing said <br />vehicle for administrative purposes, and <br />Whereas, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of a new automobile which will be used by the Mayor. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINEll BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO; <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of a <br />1984 automobile to be used by the Mayor, which shall be in <br />accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and <br />that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency masure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary to replace the existing <br />automobile being used by the Mayor which is obsolete because of <br />excessive mileage, and further provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, CVRK OF <br />COUNCIL <br />A VED; <br />- <br />h4tLf <br />.
