4. <br />IN TIiE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 84- 38 <br />BY: RONALD TALLON <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1000.10 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED ENTITLED "GENERAL PROVISIONS" OF <br />CHAPTEK 1000 ENTITLED "SUBDIVISION OF LAND", <br />Whereas, this Council adopted Ordinance No. 79-139 dealing <br />with the subdivision of land, and <br />Whereas, it has come to the attention that in the amending <br />process between the time the ordinance was originally introduced <br />and finally adopted, there is a typographical error dealing with <br />the minimum size of storm sewer connections, and <br />Whereas, when the ordinance vras originally introduced it <br />called for a six inch storm sewer connection and thereafter <br />called for an eight inch storm sewer connection, and <br />Whereas, it is the desire of this Council to establish the <br />storm sewer connection at six inches rather than eight inches. <br />NOW, THEKEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTIOPI 1: That Section 1000.10 entitled "General <br />Provisions" of Chapter 1000 entitled "Subdivision of Land" which <br />now reads: <br />1000.10 GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />(A) Any easements required by either a major or minor <br />subdivision shall be described in a separate document, reciting <br />in detail the right of construction, maintenance and entry land. <br />The easements are ta be reviewed by the City before recording. <br />Easements are to be provided for all improvments, drainage <br />ditches and swales not located in a public street. The easements <br />shall be shown on the plat. The utility company, if applicable, <br />and the City shall be the Grantees. <br />(B) The following improvements are required for all <br />subdivisins (minor or rnajor): sanitary sewers and connections; <br />storm sewers and connections; water mains and connections; <br />paving; sidewalks; driveway aprons; trees; finish grading; street <br />signs; traffic control devices; street illumination; and any <br />appurtenances to the foregoing improvements. <br />Before construction of the improvement begins, a performance <br />bond insuring the completion of the improvement shall be posted <br />with the City of North Olmsted by the developer equal to at least <br />100% of the approved estimate of cost of construction of the <br />sewer, water, paving and sidewalk improvements.
