SARINGER <br />? <br />? <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE METHOD BY WHICH <br />FEES FOR THE IISE OF THE FACILITIES OF THE RECREATION <br />DEPARTMENT ARE TO BE FIXED, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE <br />N0. 82-95-AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, by virtue `of Ordinance No. 82-95, Council established rates <br />and fees for the use of the facilities & programs of the Recreation <br />Department and upon reconsideration, has determined that certain rates <br />and fees should be adjusted and fees determined for other departmental <br />programs and a program of reduced resident rates be established: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That a resident identification card be established for <br />all residents of the City of North Olmsted who wish to participate in <br />programs of the North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Department. <br />A. Identification cards shall be issued by the Parks and Recreation <br />Department to residents of North Olmsted. Such cards shall include <br />the name, address and phone number of resident as well as picture. <br />B. Fee for processing of these cards shall be $2.50 per card. Re- <br />placement of a card shall have a fee of $2.00. $1.50 for each <br />additional card per family. <br />C. The Director of Parks and Recreation shall establish times that <br />cards are available for purchase and an appropriate registration <br />form. ftesidency must be verified through a curren.t voters re- <br />gistration card, land tax statement, or other means of verification <br />as approved by the Recreation Director. Children shall be verified <br />by their parents. <br />D. For all fees included in this ordinance, a resident shall show his <br />identification card to receive the appropriate resident rate at <br />the time of payment. Non-card holders and non-card carriers shall <br />be charged the non-resident fee in all cases. No refunds shall be <br />made for any fees paid prior to obtain.ing a resident card. <br />SECTION 2: That the basic fees for the use of the Tennis Facilities <br />shall be as follows: <br />A. WINTER SEASON <br /> <br />Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Resident <br />$10.00 Per Hour Non-Resident <br />$12.00 Per Hour <br />Monday thru Friday 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. $12.00 Per, Hour $14.00 Per Hour <br />Saturday thru Sun.day 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. $12.00 Per Hour $14.00 Per Hour <br />B. PERMANENT AND LEAGUE COURT TIME $ 9.00 Per Hour $10.00 Per Hour <br /> $11.00 Per Hour $12.00 Per Hour <br />C. JWiIOR (WALK-ON) COURT TIME $ 9.00 Per Hour $10.00 Per Hour <br />(Student under 1 ) <br />D. INSTRUCTIONAL COURT TIME $ 9.00 Per Hour $10.00 Per Hour <br />E. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS <br />At such time as the facility is not otherwise scheduled, prior to 4 p.m. <br />Monday through Friday, the rate for Public & Parochial Schools shall be $9.00 <br />per hour per court. <br />SECTION 3: That the basic fees for the use of the Aquatic Facilities <br />are as follows: <br />A. WINTER SEASON: LABOR DAY TO MEMORIAL DAY <br />Single Admission Resident Non-Resident <br />Adults $2.00 2.50
