CITY OF NORPH OIMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 85-135 <br />BY: MAYOR SWIETYNIOWSKI <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEE DIREC'I'OR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVEIRPISE FOR BIDS FOR A VARIIIBLE FREQUENCY CONTROL <br />FOR THI7EE TERTIARY PiJNIP DRIVES AT TFIE MSTEWATER TREAT- <br />MENT PI,ANT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONnRACI' FOR <br />SAME, AND DEC.LARING AN EVIZGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLUED BY TfiE COUNCIL OF TBE CITY OF NORI'H OI14STED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Public Sexvice be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for a variable frequency control <br />for three tertiary ptunp drives at the Wastewater Treatrment Plant to be <br />used by the City in accordance with specifications nvw on file in his <br />office, and that upon appraval by the Boa.rd of Control, the Ma.yor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />SECI'ION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure imnediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and we].fare, and for the further reason-:to insure <br />reliable electrical controls of the tertiary ptump drives at the Waste- <br />water Trea.tment Plant, and further pravided it receives the affirnlative <br />vote of two-thirds of all menbers elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passaqe and appraval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: a?4-199 <br />ATPEST: <br />FIARENCE E.
