CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 85 - 101 <br />BY: MR. RONALD J. WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES <br />AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR <br />THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31st, 1985. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year endinq <br />December 31, 1985, the following sums be and they are hereby set aside <br />and appropriated as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />Original Add Deduct New Amount <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />County Deductions $188,200 -0- 20,000 168,200 <br />Audit -0- 20,000 -0- 20,000 <br />SERVICE DEPARTMENT <br />Signs 5,000 -0- 50 4,950 <br />Community Cabin Maintenance 3,400 -0- 1,000 2,400 <br />Equipment Purchase 10,000 -0- 3,239 6,761 <br />Equipment Rental 1,000 -0- 121 879 <br />Street Sweeping Contract 10,000 -0- 65 9,935 <br />Labor 482,400 -0- 10,000 472,400 <br />Street Lighting -0- 14,475 -0- 14,475 <br />FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND <br />Street Lighting 103,000 -0- 14,475 88,525 <br />Streets for asphalt <br />resurfacing 89,021 14,475 -0- 103,496 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers <br />therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve <br />same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; <br />provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages <br />except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or <br />ordinance. Provided further that the appropriations for contingencies <br />can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items <br />of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for <br />purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations <br />herein made. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br />force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />IQOI?? le &2e=O?
