. _ . .. ?_ _ <br />. ?R . ? <br />CITY OF NORTfi OT.NISTID <br />ORDINANCE NO. 86-131 <br />BY: MAYOR Petrigac <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURUEN`I' ExPENSES <br />AND OTHER EXPENDITCIRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTED FOR <br />THE YEAR ETIDING DECEMBER 31, 1986. <br />WHEREAS, Income Tax Collections are anticipated to exceed the original <br />and amended estimates by Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000); and <br />WfEREAB, State levied and shared taxes are anticipated to exceed the <br />original and amended estimates by Forty-three Thousand Six Hundred Dollars <br />($43,600). <br />N()W, THREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'PHE CITY OF NOR'I'H OIMSTED, COtINTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the General Fund anticipated and budgeted receipts be <br />amended to read Seven Million Eight Hundred Forty-three Thousand Nine <br />Hundred Seventyrone Dollars ($7,843,971), <br />SECTION 2: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of said City of North O]msted during the year ending December <br />31, 1986, that the follawing stuns be and they are hereby set aside and <br />appropriated as follows; <br />Current Change Revised <br />Amount Amount <br />CENERAL P'CTDID <br />General Administration <br />County Deductions $125,083 $87,000 $212,083 <br />P.E.R.S. 218,000 36,600 254,600 <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of C.iyahoga County. <br />SECTION 4: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments frcen any of the aforegoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made.
