CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86 - 71 <br />BY: <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,500 TONS OF <br />ROAD SALT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME, AND DECLAR.ING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for 2,500 tons of road salt in accordance <br />with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by <br />the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a con- <br />tract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary <br />to provide for the safe use of city streets during the winter season, and <br />further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
