Yvonne Petrigac AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRIINT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPEDIDITURES FnR THE CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID FOR THE YEAR ENDING DEMkOER 31,1986, AS AMENDID. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TfE CITY OF NORTH 01MSTID, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECI'ION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North O]msted during the year ending December 31, 1986, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows; Police Departme.nt Contingency Supplies Building Department Heating Inspector Chief Inspector TOTAL Current Increased Decreased Revised GENERAL F[7ND $2,100 -0- $450 $1,650 12,800 450 -0- 13,250 19,261 -0- 11,000 8,261 -0- 11,000 -0- 11,000 11,450 11,450 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immdiately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payme.nts frcan any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of twu-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, or the Charter of the City of North O]msted.
