J <br />CITY OF NORTH OIMSZED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 86 - 54 <br />BY: <br />AN 012DINANCE AUTfiORIZING THE SAI,E OF MUBILE OFFICE <br />TRAILER OWNED BY TBE CITY OF NORZfi OII-ZSTED AND PRE- <br />VIOUSLY USED BY THE WASTE[nATER Tf2E'.A'IMENT PLANT, <br />DEPAffi'MENT OF PUBLIC SERVICES, AND DEcLARING AN <br />IIMERGENCY. <br />WI-iEREAS, the CoLmcil and the Adhninistration have deternlined that the NOBILE <br />OFFICE TRAILER used by the Wastewater Treat.mQ.nt Plant, Departnent of Public Service <br />in no longer needed for mumicipal purposes, and <br />WI-EREAS, it is the desire of this Colmcil tA sell said property in accordance <br />with law. <br />NOW, THEFZEE'ORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IHE ODUNQL OF 'IY3E CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />CJOIJNTY AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECI'ION l: That the follawing property was formerly used by the Wastewater <br />Treatme.nt Plant, Departn-ent of Public Services, and is no longer needed for mu- <br />nicipa.l business, to wit: <br />One (1) 50 ft x 12 ft / Whitley Nlpbile Office Trailer - As zs <br />Year 1978, Serial Nurnber 16243, Six Wheels <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to se11 said Mobile <br />Offioe Trailer to the highest bidder according to law, provided hawever, that the <br />highest bid is approved by the Board of Cantrol and further provided that the highest <br />bidder shall, upon acoeptance of the bid pay the Director of Finance of the City of <br />North Olmsted, twenty-five peroent (25%) of the bid price and that withi.n five (5) <br />days thereafter, the entire bid price sha11 be paid and the successful bidder shall <br />acoept and reimve said property from the premises of the City. The Mayor, having <br />been advised upon receipt of the full bid price, sha}.l, if necessary, execute any <br />and all docuunents required by law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />iimmdiately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare <br />and for the further reason that the sale of this property is necessary to protect <br />the value thereof for resale purposes.
