CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 86 - 28 <br />BY: <br />MAYOR PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A PETTY CASH FUND FOR THE <br />DIVISION OF AGING IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF TWO <br />HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) TO BE USED FOR SERVICING <br />EMERGENCY, INDIGENT CLIENTS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Division of Aging does service emergency, indigent <br />clients, for the purpose of providing sustenance for said indigent clients, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a Petty <br />Cash Fund with a maximum to be maintained in said fund of Two Hundred Dollars <br />($200.00). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAIiOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That there is hereby created a Petty Cash Fund within <br />the Senior Center Fund with a maximum amount of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), <br />and the expenditures out of that fund will be properly receipted. The Admin- <br />istrator of the Division of Aging, or his designee, shall supply receipts to <br />the Director of Finance, who, in turn, will replenish the amount depleted from <br />the Petty Cash Fund, upon being satisfied that the receipts are in proper order. <br />The expenditures out of said fund will be for sustaining emergency, indigent <br />clients and for no other purpose. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance hereby repeals all other ordinances <br />or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emer- <br />gency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary <br />to make provisions for emergency care of indigent clients, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor.
