CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID ORDINANCE N0. 87-125 BY: Mayor Petrigac AN ORDINANCE TO MAID APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITCTRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OINlSTID FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1987. NOW, THEREr~RE, BE IT ORDAINID BY THE CITY OF NORTH OINISTED, COt1NTY OF C[1YAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1987, that the following scans be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows; Current Increase Revised Amount Amount Amount RECREATION F[TND Special Services $60,240 $11,360 $71,600 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest date permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted.
