CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION N0. 87 - 97 BY: ' A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE COLLECTION OF ALL REFUSE IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT FOR SAME. WHEREAS, the current contract for Private Rubbish Hauling for the City of North Olmsted will expire on December 31, 1987, and WHIsREA.S, it is the desire of this Council and the Administration to have the Director of Public Service advertise for bids for the purpose of entering into a new contract with a private hauler to perform the service of refuse collection. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TITG CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the Collection of All Refuse in the City of North Olmsted in accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. SECTION 2: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare of the City of North Olmsted and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the cleanliness of the City of North Olmsted, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
