,,~_ _ _ _ _ <br />.~.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 87-89 <br />BY: MAYOR PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1987. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expen itures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1987, that the following sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows. <br />GENERAL FUND <br />CURRENT INCREASED DECREASED REVISED <br />Police Department <br />Jail Matron $ 2,000 $ 650 $ 1,350 <br />Uniforms 21,850 $ 650 22,500 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attestecT copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of <br />the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates <br />and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized <br />by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to <br />make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or <br />paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of <br />and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the <br />appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of <br />two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal <br />obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />
