<br />CITY OF NORTH OLrLSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87 - 78 <br />BY: MR. WILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE ROOF REPLACEMENT AND BUILDING REHABILITATION <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED OLD TOWN HALL, AS DETAILED IN THE ROOF REPLACEMENT AND <br />BUILDING REHABILITATION SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO CONTP,ACT FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WI~REAS, the City Council and Mayor are desirous of upgrading North Olmsted <br />Old Town Hall for use as a public meeting hall and to house various city offices. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the Mayor to contract with an <br />architect to prepare specifications for the upgrading of the wiring at the North <br />Olmsted Old Town Hall, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the County of Cuyahoga has approved <br />this project as eligible for Community Development Block Grant Funds and allocated <br />Forty Seven Thousand Two Hundred Eighty,Two Dollars and Fifty Six Cents ($47,282.56). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be andhe is hereby authorized <br />to advertise for bids for the Roof Replacement and Building Rehabilitation of North <br />Olmsted Old Town Hall according to the specifications now on file in his office and <br />that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter <br />into a contract and execute said contract on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
