.. r?IYC" <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 87 - 69 <br />BY: MAYOR PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES <br />AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR <br />THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1987. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY <br />OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expen itures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1987, that the following sums be and they are hereby set <br />aside and appropriated as follows: <br />SEWER REVENUE FUND <br />CURRENT INCREASE REVISED <br />Sludge Removal---------------------$ 21,000 $ 30,000 $ 51,000 <br />Carbon-------------------'----'---- 20,000 20,000 40,000 <br />Chlorine-----------------------'--- 3,000 2,000 5,000 <br />$ 44,000 $ 52,000 $ 96,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an atteste copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers there- <br />fore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve <br />same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; <br />provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages <br />except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law <br />or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies <br />can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for <br />items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for <br />purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations <br />herein made. <br />
