YVONNE PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION <br />TO BE PAID TO ALL HOURLY EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED <br />BY THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a compen- <br />sation schedule for all hourly personnel employed by the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, so that it is similiar to the wage schedules paid <br />to employees of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That effective August 1, 1987, the compensation to <br />be paid to all hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line shall be as follows: <br />A. Bus Operator - Full-time <br />Hourly rates: <br />Classification RTA Code Rate Steps* <br />Title No. 0** 1 2 3 4 <br />Operator 437 8.29 8.925 10.20 11.475 12.75 <br />* Each rate step is one year of full-time service. <br />** Rate step "0" is starting rate for those hired after September 5, <br />1985. <br />B. Bus Operator - Part-time <br />Part-time Bus Operators shall be paid the same schedule as full-time <br />Bus Operators. For purposes of applying a wa ge progression part-time <br />operators shall be credited for one year of s ervice after completion <br />of 2,080 part-time hours and will progress to the next rate step. <br />Part-time Bus Operators who subsequEntly are hired full-time will <br />remain in the rate step schedule they are in, however, no credit with <br />part-time hours will be applied towards their full-time employment <br />wage progression within that rate step. <br />Part-time Bus Operators shall accrue full-tim e seniority only from the <br />date of employment as a full-time operator. <br />C.
