CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID ORDINANCE NO. 87-56 BY: Mayor Petrigac AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURREN'T' EXPENSES AND O'T'HER EXPENDITCTRES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1987. WHEREAS, approximately fifty-five residents of West 231st street have agreed to pay to the City of North O]msted the stun of One Hundred Fifty dollars each to have asphalt aprons installed during reconstruction of that street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID, COtTN'I'Y OF CCJYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the anticipated revenue of the General Fund be increased by Eight Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($8,250.00). SECTION 2: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said City of North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1987, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows; Current Increase Revised C~NERAL FUND Service Department: West 231 -0- $8,250 $8,250 SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 4: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made.
