CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION W0. 87 - 31 <br />BY: Ronald J. Tallon <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLR1STED TO ACCEPT FOR DEDICATION CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN PHEASANTS WALK <br />SUBDIVISION, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 83-153, duly passed on the 17th day <br />of January, 1984, the Council of the City of North Olmsted accepted the final <br />plat plan and improvement plans for Pheasants Walk Subdivision for record <br />purposes only, and <br />6JHEREAS, it is the intent of this Council to accept said subdivision <br />streets for dedication after all improvements have been installed and approved <br />according to City standards within the streets within said subdivision, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, as a prerequisite for the obtaining of a permit from the City of <br />Cleveland to install water mains within the said streets of said subdivision, <br />the City of Cleveland requires a resolution of intent from the City of North <br />Olmsted before giving such permit. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Council of the City of North Olmsted does hereby <br />declare its intent to accept for dedication all streets shown on the subdivision <br />plat of Pheasants Walk Subdivision, after all improvements, including utilities, <br />have been installed and approved. <br />SECTIOfd 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to <br />send a certified copy of this resolution to the City of Cleveland, Department <br />of Public Utilities, Division of Water. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to <br />assure proper development of all lots and land within Pheasants Walk Subdivision, <br />and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />
