? <br />BY: COUNCILMAN BOEHMER <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 88- 148 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT <br />APPLICATIONS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CERTAIN <br />MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, The City of North Olmsted has established a Capital <br />Improvement Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, The City desires financial assistance to implement <br />some of the improvements on the plan, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be, and she is hereby authorized <br />to make and sign applications for State Issue 2 financial <br />assistance. <br />SECTION 2: That four certified copies of this resolution be <br />forwarded to the City Engineer to be included with said <br />applications. <br />SECTION 3: That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure, immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that timely application for these funds must be made, and <br />further, provided that it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. <br />PASSED: Zacy'?e.c_ .z6. <br />ATTEST: <br /><;;?
