r <br />. ,? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88- 80 <br />BY: PATRICIA BAHAS <br />AN ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OHIO, IN THE MATTER OF THE HEREINAFTER <br />DESCRIBED IMPROVIIKENT AND TO REQUEST COOPERATION BY THE <br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, <br />STATE OF OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has recognized the need for and <br />proposes the improvement of a portion of public highway which is described <br />as follows: <br />To construct a new traffic thoroughfare of appropriate <br />design and capacity from the intersection of Lorain Road <br />and Stearns Road in a generally northerly direction <br />toward the intersection of Center Ridge Road and Crocker <br />Road in the City of Westlake, the length within the <br />corporate limits of the City being in all 0.80 miles <br />more or less; and to ultimately be linked with a <br />similar new thoroughfare in the City of Westlake <br />constructed in a southerly direction from the <br />intersection of Center Ridge Road and Crocker Road <br />toward the intersection of Lorain Road and Stearns Road <br />in the City of North Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: A. CONSENT. <br />1. That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent <br />of said City of North Olmsted be and such consent is hereby given to the <br />County and the Ohio Department of Transportation to construct the above- <br />described improvement in accordance with plans, specifications and <br />estimates approved by the County. <br />SECTION 2: B. COOPERATION. <br />1. That the City of North Olmsted will cooperate with the County and <br />the Ohio Department of Transportation in the construction of the Crocker <br />Road Extension from North Corporate Limits to Lorain Road. <br />1
