CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88-79 <br />BY: Ronald J. Wilamosky <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE HIRING OF ZONING <br />CONSULTANT ROBERT C. HILL FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />REVIEWING THE EXISTING ZONING CODE OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING <br />RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING PROPOSED CHANGES AND <br />DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that it is desirable for the City of <br />North Olmsted to revise and update where appropriate the Zoning Code of the <br />City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recoonizes that the assistance of a <br />consultant to accomplish the aforesaid, is consistent with his duties as <br />specified in Article IV, Section 14 and Article VII, Section 2 of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to hire the services of <br />Robert C. Hill as a planning and zonino consultant to assist the Council, <br />as an expert, in performing its Charter responsibility relative to zoning <br />matters, and <br />WHERZAS, it is the desire of the City Council consistent with the <br />hiring of the planning consultant to direct the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract relative to the hiring of said services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section l. That this Council does hereby hire the services of Robert <br />C. Hill to review the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted and to make <br />recommendations relative to any needed changes therein, all of which shall <br />be consistent with the agreement between the City of North Olmsted and <br />Robert C. Hill which is attached hereto and made a part hereof and marked <br />Exhibit "A". And further that, upon the passage of this ordinance, the <br />Mayor be and she is hereby directed to execute said agreement on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to
