CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 88-53 BY: Nir. Wilamosky AN ORDINANCE TO TF2ANSFER APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRINT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPINDITURES FOR TI-IE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECIIHBER 311 1988. NOW, T'HEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IHE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUN'I'Y OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures of said CT o North Olmsted during the year ending December 31, 1988, that the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows; SEWER REVENUE F[JND Carbon Chlorine CURRENT INCREASE DECREASE REVISE $309000 53,000 $25,000 7,000 5,000 129000 SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall innediately forward an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the aforegoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force at the earliest?ate permitted by Article IV, Section 12, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. PASSED : ATTEST: ? ?. ,.
